We have a lot of projects going on around the house right now. I guess we're both feeling like there are certain things we'd really like to get done before the little one arrives ... and our window of opportunity is getting smaller and smaller by the day (coincidentally as my belly gets larger and larger!). So, we ran lots of project related errands this weekend. Our goals included:
- Glider-Rocker for the nursery
- Glider-Rocker and/or some other seating for the living room
- Bathroom vanity, tile, shower doors, storage, etc.
The master bathroom remodel looks like it's actually going to happen. We are actually going to have a master bathroom that works! Woah ... we had 2 contractors come out to look at the bathroom and have one bid back. So, we're waiting, but it shouldn't be too long. We found a vanity we like, so now need to look for and hopefully purchase tile this week. Here's a picture of the vanity.
We also found a glider rocker for the nursery. I don't know if we're picky, have unusual taste, or both, but we found it to be quite difficult to find one we liked. But, after visiting nearly every furniture store in town, we found one! I still have to pick out the fabric, but haven't decided on curtains yet, and want to do that first. Way too many decisions for an easily overwhelmed pregnant lady ... I keep telling myself to take "baby steps" ...

Good choice on the glider. You'll end up snoozing in it a few times. :) We went for a neutral colored La-z-boy so that we could use it in another room down the road. And it's much comfier than the padded wooden ones!
